Vanessa has published more than 70 scholarly works, including the acclaimed Homo Natura: Nietzsche, Philosophical Anthropology and Biopolitics (EUP 2020), Nietzsche's Animal Philosophy: Culture, politics, and the Animality of the Human Being (FUP 2009) and The Government of Life: Foucault, Biopolitics, and Neoliberalism (ed, FUP 2014). Her work has been translated into 6 languages.
